
Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) rider Pierre Barbier delivered a significant triumph for his squad after sprinting to victory at the Grand Prix Alaiye in Türkiye today.
The French sprinter conquered the 127.2-kilometre course in 2 hours, 58 minutes and 53 seconds, securing the top spot on the podium with a decisive finish.

Barbier outpaced home favourites Mustafa Tarakci and Ramazan Yilmaz of Konya Buyuksehir Belediye Spor, who settled for second and third place respectively. Fourth place went to Bartlomiej Proc of Wibatech Lubelskie Perla Polski.
Reflecting on the win, Barbier described the result as a timely boost for both himself and the team.
“I’m delighted with this victory. The route was demanding with plenty of climbs, but I stayed focused right to the finish line,” he said. “It’s a great result for the team and our sponsors. We’ll keep working hard to maintain this momentum.”
The victory marks Barbier’s first of the season, setting a strong tone for TSG’s campaign ahead.
