DONGYING – The Terengganu Cycling Team continues its busy international calendar as the Malaysian continental squad heads to China for the Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) Road Cycling Race.
The one-day event, staged around Longju Lake Square in Dongying, Shandong Province, covers 150.6 kilometers on a flat, high-speed course. With an average race pace expected to exceed 46 km/h, the contest will demand sharp tactics and strong sprinting ability.
Terengganu’s lineup features Zeb Kyffin, Muhammad Nur Aiman Mohd Zariff, James Gardner, Wan Abdul Rahman Hamdan, Kee Zhe Yie, and Muhammad Shahmir Aiman Abdul Halim, under the guidance of sports director Mohamed Saiful Anuar Aziz. Gardner, who recently impressed with a fifth-place finish in Azerbaijan, will be one to watch as the team seeks another strong result.

The Yellow River Estuary race has grown into a key fixture on the Asian cycling calendar, attracting top squads from across the continent. For Malaysia, Terengganu’s participation underscores its rising ambitions in the sport and provides valuable exposure against international competition.
The team’s presence in Dongying follows their spirited campaign at the Baku–Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race earlier this month, signaling a determined push to establish Malaysian cycling on the global stage.
